At the foot of the towering Wasatch Range, the stunning Sundance Valley offers the ideal setting for an immersive photography experience. Explore Green and Braided River invite you to participate in a Fall Nature Photography Workshop at Sundance Mountain Resort led by acclaimed conservation photographers Amy Gulick, Carl Johnson, and Dave Showalter. Each will bring their expertise and passion for wild country to this hands-on workshop.
Participants will learn solid compositional technique, supported by constructive photo critiques, discuss a storytelling approach, and explore the role of photography in conserving wild lands, in keeping with the Sundance mission of land stewardship.
The workshop will include early morning and afternoon-evening photo shoots. Amy, Carl, and Dave will review images from the group and offer constructive feedback to participants – a valuable way to study light and learn techniques to make mindful, compelling images. Sundance promises to work her magic, and we’ll provide the instruction and inspiration to assist you with your visual journey.
This workshop runs September 7 – 10, 2017. Price per couple is $3,900 Small Mountain Suite, and $4,400 for a Large Mountain Suite. Please inquire for single person rates. This trip is limited to 20 suites.
